Course of the circular route
The long tour of the circular route W8 has a length of 14.5km and picks up on the main points of the short and medium tours, but leads significantly further south.
It takes you through the forest and past two ponds to the railway line Hanover - Hamburg. Here, you continue left through Rungeloh forest and a small valley to Tielemann’s Oak, which is protected as a natural monument.
The path continues north and reaches the course of the power line at a crossroads. Following this trail, you will return to the trail parking lot, passing through areas that are partly overgrown with heather.

The trail leads through extensive forest areas on mostly narrow forest trails and some wider forest trails.
Starting point
The starting point for the three routes through the Luesswald area is the "Luesswald" car park on the L280.
