Holiday home Schneider Wietze in the southern Lüneburg Heath for up to 6 persons is an old cosy half-timbered house on a large natural property, ideal for families and nature lovers.
Location
The holiday home Schneider Wietze is ideally situated
to explore the natural landscapes and sights of the Aller-Leine valley, the
City of Celle, the southern heath and of course the entire Lüneburg Heath. The
numerous leisure parks of the Lüneburg Heath can also reached easily from here.
The village Wietze in the southern heath is only about 20 minutes car ride away from the famous town of Celle with old timber-framed houses and a wonderfull castle.
Our holiday home is situated on a quiet side street of the village, but not far from the long-stretched centre of Wietze.
Forest and fields begin in a few hundred meters. Sports facilities and a public swimming pool are only 400 metres away. Several restaurants, bakeries, ice cream parlour, supermarkets are within 800 metres distance.
Various riding stables are in the village. Especially interesting for children is a farm with Icelandic ponies only.
Features
The holiday home is situated on a large property, partly covered with trees and bushes. It is a half-timbered house with brick lining and has a large glas roofed east terrace with view into the garden. Two further terraces facing to the south and the west are also at the house.
The house itself was built at around 1870. 1981-85 it
was carefully rebuilt and modernized inside. Typical for old houses in Wietze are
the two "Bückkeller", cellars where the floor of the rooms above were
raised to have a flat cellar depending on the formerly high groundwater levels
in winter time.
The holiday home consists of a hallway with adjoining
living/dining room separated by an open framework, three bedrooms of different
sizes, guest WC, two bathrooms with shower and a glazed entrance area.
In the dining area with an extendable table for up to
8 persons is a kitchenette with ceramic hob, oven, sink and refrigerator.
All necessary kitchen utensils and dishes for at least 6 persons are available.
In the living area there are a sofa, three armchairs
and a small table, as well as a small television (DVB-S) and a tiny radio with
cassette and CD drive.

A separate room with lavatory. A small bathroom with a washbasin and floor shower. The second, larger bathroom has a washbasin, a lavatory and a quarter round corner shower. The dishwasher is also located in this room.
The washing machine is in the "Bückkeller" below. Drying stands as well as vacuum cleaner, broom, wipe etc. are stored in the larger bathroom.
Terrace chairs and a wooden table are always there. Further "plastic chairs and tables" are in the shed. Grill, table tennis and 4 garden loungers are available.
Under the trees in the garden is a sandpit, a "tree-cave" with children's chairs und table and a double swing.
Catering
Self-catering - next supermarket with bakery approx. 500 meters away. Further shops are in the village.
In the village there are also several restaurants and delivery services.
Special features
W-LAN (50 Mbit/sec) is available.
Minimum occupancy is two nights. A surcharge is levied in summer (June – September) if the rent is less than four nights.
