Course of the Circular Trail
The medium tour of the circular hiking trail W7 with a length of 8.6 km also starts at the hiking car park "Kalte Hofstube" leading southwards. It takes us into the Siedenholz forest area. From Theerhof the trail continues to the left through "Franzosengrund". The French are told to have pitched camp here during the Napoleonic occupation.
At the Forestry Education Centre Ostheide we continue northeast through the forest. At a height of 118 m the path leads towards the Gaussian memorial stone and then back to the starting point.
The medium tour is marked with a medium yellow circle next to the pictogram.
Starting Point
The starting point for these three hikes is the car park "Kalte Hofstube" near Neulutterloh.
How to get to the car park „Kalte Hofstube”
The "Kalte Hofstube" car park is located on the K 17 from Unterlüß in the direction of Hermannsburg approx. 2 km before Neu Lutterloh on the right-hand side at the edge of the forest.
