Pastor Bode Path: Stage 2 Salzhausen to Egestorf

The second stage largely follows the route of the old railway line from Egestorf to Winsen (Luhe), for whose construction Wilhelm Bode was heavily involved.

But you do not have to worry about railway noise. On the contrary, the path through Osterbachtal, Nordbachsteg, and the shady Spannwald runs on quiet and natural paths, where you can enjoy the sounds of nature. The landscape is varied. The yellow-black marker arrows lead you through secluded tree-lined avenues and past green fields. From time to time you wander through a mixed forest and on a sunny day the rays of light show you the right way.
