The Bodenteich heath areas “Schwarzer Berg” (“Black
Mountain”) and “Muna” with a total area of some 40 hectares lie at the foot of
the Wierener Berge.

Nature teaching trail on Bodenteich Heath

The “Heath” nature teaching trail familiarises visitors on
the circular hiking route with the special cultural landscape and provides
information about the nature reserve and its animals and plants. 

It is also possible to see and experience sheep pens, bee
hives and a solitary bee wall during a hike on the teaching trail.

Carriage rides across Bad Bodenteich Heath are
available all year round.
