in the Nordheide: Alaris Butterfly Park 

In Buchholz Butterfly Park, three halls show different habitats: subtropics,
tropical rainforests and Mediterranean climate and vegetation. Hundreds of
free-flying butterflies flutter around the visitors. 

The
butterflies of the tropics do not know humans as enemies and so there is no
fear of contact.

During
the season, more than 140 different butterfly species can be seen. Every month
has its highlights.

Our Orchid
Cafe can also be booked independently of the Butterfly Park for events or
family celebrations.
